Here is what Google writes about its Adsense program: "Google Adsense is the program that can generate advertising revenue from each page on your
website with a minimal investment in time and no additional resources. So According to us every website owner should at least consider the program because you can make a decent living with AdSense.
How AdSense Works
Google Adsense can be a very profitable venture for many webmasters and bloggers so it is important to have a good understanding of how Adsense works. Google Adsense advertising system involves three different kinds of people:
- Advertisers:
- Publishers or Web site owners:
- Website Visitors:
The Google AdSense program lets much smaller websites play. Even if your site only gets a few hundred page views per month, you can now apply to the AdSense program. Google AdSense program requires you (the website owner) to include a piece of code (a programming script) on your website. The Adsense ad layout can be fully customized to fit your existing website design, in regards to both size, placement, colors and much more.
The source of all AdSense income is the AdWords program. Adwords users would pay money to run these ads so that they themselves can generate money by sending people to their websites. When an ad is clicked on, Google will pay the publisher about half of what the Adwords advertiser is paying to run the ads. The amount you'll earn also depends largely on the amount of targeted traffic you receive to your own site, how well the ads match your audience's interests, the placement of the ads on your pages, and of course the amount you receive per click.

Types of AdSense
AdSense for Domains
Adsense for domains is great CPM based advertising. Adsense for domains allows advertisements to be placed on domain names that have not been developed. With AdSense for domains, users can find relevant information rather than see empty pages or "page not found" errors. AdSense for domains can be used on any domain that adheres to Googles policies.
Instead of an "under construction" page or 404 errors, AdSense for domains provides links, search results, advertisements and other content. So all that is required for you to do is that you first sign in to your existing Adsense account (or start one if you
haven't got one yet) and go to the Get Ads tab and select Adsense for Domains in the list of services and click on Add domain and follow the instructions that Adsense will give you.
Adding domain names are quite simple just add your name together with the language and in the next step you get the information for the DNS settings. As with most other parking services you
don't need to change the name server entries. You need to enter at least 4 A-records and one CNAME for the www sub-domain. The CNAME holds also your Adsense Publisher ID which should be used for the validation that a domain belongs to your Adsense account. For the DNS configuration you will find help files with information how to change the DNS with the bigger domain name provider. Once
you've set-up your domain according to Adsenses specifications, wait until it gets approved and once it is approved wait for the dollars to roll in.
AdSense for Feeds
AdSense for feeds allows web publishers to earn by placing targeted Google ads in their feeds. It is a program that displays contextual and placement-targeted ads in
Feed Burner feeds. AdSense for feeds works by inserting images into a feed. When the image is displayed by a RSS reader or Web browser, Google writes the advertising content into the image that it returns. The advertisement content is chosen based on the content of the feed surrounding the image. When the user clicks the image, he or she is redirected to the advertiser's website in the same way as regular AdSense advertisements.
AdSense for mobile content

The site has to also be developed with server side scripting(PHP and ASP are examples of server-side scripting). The Google ad code you will paste into your pages will be in PHP. For mobile websites, AdSense will automatically detect the type of phone viewing your site and deliver ads to match.
